Common problems and fixes
Quick fixes for common problems with signing in, your website, photos, bookings, chat, alerts, WhatsApp, visitor numbers, your own domain and listings.
Something not working? Find your problem below. Each answer has a few quick steps and a link to the full guide. Most fixes take a minute, on your phone or a computer. If nothing here helps, contact the vadodara.biz platform team.
I can't sign in
- Check the address. Your sign-in is at your business's address, for example https://spice-garden.vadodara.biz/admin (website editor) or https://spice-garden.vadodara.biz/app (owner app).
- Type your email, not your name, and check for spaces.
- Forgot your password? Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in page. You get an email with a link (if your platform has email switched on). Check your spam folder.
- Still stuck? Ask the business owner or the platform team to set a new password for you. It is temporary: you choose your own at the next sign-in.

My account is locked
After 5 wrong passwords your account is locked for a while, up to 15 minutes. It unlocks by itself.
- Wait 15 minutes.
- Then sign in carefully, or use Forgot password?.
- If it is urgent, ask the platform team. They can unlock it straight away.
I lost the phone with my authenticator app
You cannot get the 6-digit codes without the app, and nobody can read them for you.
- Contact the platform team. They will check it is really you.
- They remove your old authenticator.
- At your next sign-in you enter your password and set up the authenticator app again on your new phone.

It says I have no access
- "…that account has no access here yet": your sign-in works, but nobody has added you to a business. Ask the business owner (or the platform team) to add you.
- "… has no access to <Business>": you are signed in, but not to this business. Check that you opened your own business's address.
- "No access — Your account is not linked to this business…" in the owner app: same as above. Tap Sign out and sign in with the right account, or ask the owner to add you.
- "Please finish signing in in the same browser window you started in.": start again and finish in the same browser. Do not copy the link to another app or phone.

My changes are not showing on the website
- Did you publish? Saving keeps a draft, which visitors do not see. Open the page and click Publish changes.
- Is the business live? If visitors see "Our new website is coming soon.", the business is still Draft. The platform team switches it to Published when your setup is done.
- Wait a minute, then reload the page. On a computer use a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R, or Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac). On a phone, close the tab and open it again.
- Changed a page in Gujarati or Hindi? Check that you published that language too.

The menu at the top of my site is missing, or a page is not in it
- The menu only appears when it has at least two links: Home plus another published page, or Home plus a section link from your home page.
- A page that is only a draft is not shown. Publish it.
- Open the page and check its Menu box: Show in the menu must be ticked.
- The menu holds at most 12 links. Pages further down the order are left out. Give your important pages a low Position number, or untick Show in the menu on pages that do not need a link.
- On a phone the menu is folded into the ☰ Menu button at the top right. Tap it to open the links.
- A section link is missing? Only sections on the home page can be in the menu, and the section needs a Menu label (in its Appearance settings). Publish the home page after adding it.
- Wrong order? Set a Position number on each page: lower comes first. Home is always first.

The language switcher does not show
The EN · ગુ · हि buttons only appear on pages that are translated.
- Open the page in the website editor and switch Locale to ગુજરાતી or हिन्दी.
- Check that the Title has a text in that language. A page only counts as translated when its title is filled in for that language.
- Publish the page (Publish changes, or Publish in ગુજરાતી). If it does not publish, a required text is still empty in that language: fill in the fields the editor marks.
- Wait a minute and reload the page.
The switcher is shown per page: a translated Menu page shows it, an untranslated Gallery page does not. It never shows on the privacy notice or booking pages.

My photo will not upload
- Wrong type: use JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF or AVIF for photos, PDF for documents, MP4 or WebM for video. SVG files are refused for safety. The message says "File type … is not allowed."
- Too big: photos and PDFs up to 10 MB, videos up to 50 MB. The message says "File too large". Make the photo smaller (most phones offer a smaller size when sharing).
- Alt text missing: every photo needs a short description in Description (alt text) before it can be saved.

The booking section does not show on my page
The Booking section shows nothing until all of these are true:
- Businesses → Booking tab → Accept online bookings is ticked.
- At least one Service exists and is Active.
- The page with the Booking section is published.

Customers see "No free times on this day"
Check, in this order:
- Opening hours: is the business open that day? Days not listed are closed.
- Staff & resources: is at least one active resource doing that service? Do they have their own hours, or Time off that day?
- Closed dates in the Booking tab.
- Minimum notice (minutes): with the default of 120 minutes, the next two hours are never offered.
- Book up to (days ahead): dates after it are not offered.
- The day may simply be full.

The chat button is missing from my website
- In the website editor open Businesses → your business → AI & chat.
- Tick Show the chat button on the website and click Save.
- Reload your website after a minute.

I am not getting new-lead notifications
Phone notifications:
- iPhone: notifications only work in the owner app added to your home screen. In Safari tap Share → Add to Home Screen, open the app from the new icon, then turn notifications on in Business (owners) or Today (staff).
- If the app says "Notifications are blocked…", allow notifications for the site in your phone's or browser's settings, then tap Turn on again.
- Turn it on on each phone you use. It shows "On for this phone ✓" when it works.
Telegram:
- The connect link is valid for 30 minutes. If Telegram says "That link has expired…", tap Connect Telegram in the owner app again and open the new link.
- If you blocked the bot or sent
/stop, connect again.
Email:
- In the owner app, Business → New-lead alerts: check that Email me about every new lead is ticked.
- Look in your spam folder. Emails only go to owners, and only if your platform has email switched on.

My WhatsApp replies are not delivered
This is about replying from the owner app Inbox with two-way WhatsApp.
- "⚠ not delivered": the daily limit of messages was reached, or the WhatsApp connection is down. Call or message the customer from your own phone for now, and tell the platform team.
- No new WhatsApp messages arrive after it worked before: your phone may have unlinked the connection (WhatsApp → Linked devices). The platform team needs to link it again with you.

My visitor numbers look low
- We count visits without cookies, so there is no cookie banner and nothing is lost to people who refuse cookies.
- Bots and search engine crawlers are ignored on purpose. Your numbers show people only.
- Some privacy or ad-blocking tools in browsers can stop a visit from being counted.
- Small local businesses often get a handful of visits a day; that is normal. Compare week with week.

My own domain name does not work yet
- Check that you added the DNS record the platform team gave you, at the company where you bought the domain.
- Wait. DNS changes can take a few hours.
- Ask the platform team what the domain's status says. They can see exactly what is wrong.
- Your own domain needs the Growth or Pro plan.
Meanwhile your site keeps working at your vadodara.biz address.

My business is not on vadodara.biz/businesses
- In the website editor open Businesses → your business → SEO tab.
- Check that List my business on vadodara.biz/businesses is ticked, then click Save. It is off unless you tick it.
- Check that your website is live. Businesses in Draft (coming soon) or Suspended are not listed, even with the tick.
- Wait a few minutes, then reload https://vadodara.biz/businesses.

My old address now goes to my own domain
That is expected. Once your own domain name works, every page at your vadodara.biz address, such as spice-garden.vadodara.biz/menu, takes visitors to the same page on your own domain. Old links and QR codes keep working, and Google sees one website instead of two.
The owner app and the website editor are not sent on: keep signing in at https://<your-business>.vadodara.biz/app and https://<your-business>.vadodara.biz/admin.
